Teacher
Mr. Lund has studied and worked as a pianist since childhood and a singer for over ten years. He has performed as both a chorus member and soloist in concerts and musical theatre productions in the United States, Germany, and England. He spent six years working as a church pianist and enjoys performing piano duets with his wife.
He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Theory from Texas Tech University in 2008. At Texas Tech, he studied vocal technique with Dr. Kathryn Barnes-Burroughs, piano technique with Dr. Jane Ann Wilson, choral conducting with Dr. Pamela Elrod, and music composition with Dr. Mary Jeanne Van Appledorn.
He is currently the director of vocal choirs at Atascocita Lutheran Church in Humble, Texas. He is an active member of several music organizations, including:
- Kingwood Chorale
- Music Teachers’ National Association
- Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Music Fraternity
- Houston Symphony Chorus
- American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers
Mr. Lund specializes in working with adults who want to realize their potential as singers or pianists. You’re never too old to learn something new! Music can bring such enrichment to a person’s life, and is a great way to unwind after a stressful day of adult responsibilities.
